Fees/Admission

Most activities are free. Helicopter rides are $40 per person. 50/50 Raffle Tickets are $20 each to support the fireworks fund.

FRIDAY, JUNE 25TH 7:30pm - Line up for the Golf Cart Parade, Lights Encouraged! $10 entry fee, Pre-Registration preferred with Village Hall Permit Sticker. Tolono Village Office (507 W Strong Street) 8:00pm Cart Parade led by Tolono Fun Day committee members Lori & Mike Woodworth 9:15pm Family Movie in West Side Park outside (Weather Permitting) (dark) SATURDAY, JUNE 26: 6:50am gathering at the West Side Park Military Memorial for Flag Ceremony. Short wave radio broadcast should be heard at 103.5 fm Tune in on FM radio 7:00am Trail Life with Flag Raising Ceremony, reciting our Pledge of Allegiance and sing-along National Anthem Ecumenical Service with local pastors introducing their gospel singers as we do sing-along hymns following our Tolono Fun Day theme of MUSIC in Rocket Nation 7:30am - 10:30am Masonic Lodge #391 downtown Tolono hosts $10 breakfast (part of the proceeds benefit the fireworks fund) 10 different choices 10:00am line up begins at East Side Park, Central and Walnut for check in Parade lead by Cub Scout Troop 55 going down Washington St (by St Pat's) turning south onto Bourne St by fire station, then downtown on Main (police station/library) Across from the Post Office at Tolono Historical Society 10am-1pm open house/viewing Parade passes by TraXside, goes over the tracks and ends at the Scout Cabin off Condit 11:00am Parade features a salute to Unity Music, with Beth (Krumm from Tolono) and Jay Rogers teachers over 30 years in Unit 7, still living in the farmhouse where Beth grew up. Both graduated from SIU-C The Rogers were in the beginning stages with Bonnie and Cary Woolard in founding Unity Music Boosters, plus their idea "All Out Acapella" for more than 10 years, helped over 200 students, raising thousands of dollars in scholarship money to help our talented Rockets enhance their music skills at summer camps. Kathy Harden from Unity's Class of '71 celebrates learning music and participating in musicals under the direction of Polly Anderson, who still has a scholarship offered to graduating Rockets pursuing music in college. She plans to do a set after 7pm on the Grandstand Stage in West Side Park as one of half a dozen acts on between 5-9:20pm all performers doing a set have connections to Unity Music! 12pm - 10pm West Side Park: Inflatables/Bounce Houses, Vendors with Arts/Crafts/Products, Fair Food/Drinks Concession Stand as Tolono Fun Day headquarters for 50/50 raffe ticket sales ($20) to support our festival 12:00pm starts $40 per person helicopter rides with Summer Skyz at East Side Park, Walnut and Central 12pm - 11pm 8-person golf cart shuttle rides from East Side Park to West Side Park going by Busey Bank, where festival goers can park.
