URBANITE Dance Showcase @ Memorial Stadium

One year after being sidelined by the pandemic, URBANITE is returning on its biggest stage yet, debuting at The University of Illinois’ Memorial Stadium on May 1st. Partnering with the university’s public health experts to ensure COVID-19 health and safety, attendees can experience this live dance showcase safely in an open-air environment, socially distanced, with masks required. For those unable to attend the in-person event, an experience will be live-streamed on URBANITE’s Instagram account: @urbanite.go. Dance, music, and culture collide when 15+ dance groups perform primarily hip hop choreography with additional styles featured from Latin to contemporary dance. URBANITE also welcomes ‘So Think You Can Dance: Next Generation’ season 13 winner Kida The Great + Friends to the stage for a special performance at the show. Add in DJ sets and additional surprises, and the experience becomes something not to be missed!
