Come learn how to write your own poems! Join us for the next installment of our VIRTUAL Young Artist’s Studio--this time with Urbana Poet Laureate, Will Reger, who will introduce our young participants to the fundamentals of poetry writing! We'll explore some simple poetry forms and advice to young writers. Each young participant will have a chance to write and share their own poem! The Young Artist's Studio is a series of art workshops sponsored by The Urbana Free Library and The Urbana Arts & Culture Program designed to offer youth an opportunity to explore the arts. All events in the series are free and open to the public and currently conducted via Zoom. The series is designed for children ages 5 to 11 (7 and under with a caregiver).
